Each February for the past six years, I’ve headed down to Dome Farms, SC to participate in the Winter Challenge. This adventure triathlon is in its sixteenth year, and includes a 7 mile trail run, 6 mile kayak, and 10 mile mountain bike ride. Kayak? Yes, swimming outside in the winter is not advised.

The person who originally talked me into this race, Tom Dub, has been my companion each year. He and I rolled out together for the weekend, and captured a few highlights to share.
