Bacon & Kayaking

Reporting in from summer vacation, down at the beach. We're fortunate to have family with a place on the sound at Morehead City, right across a couple bridges from Atlantic Beach and Beaufort, NC. 

Most mornings involve cooking bacon. Sometimes lunch as well. Can't beat a good summertime BLT. Our afternoons have been spent playing outside. This is the first year the whole family has been equipped with kayaks, so we're on our way to Beaufort to paddle around the island, and hopefully spot some wild horses. Good times had by all.
